U.S. Dry Product Stocks Update – Jun ’16

Dry Whey – Stocks Reach New Record High for the Month of April, Finish up 4.6% Monthly US Dry Whey Stocks - Jun 16 Apr ’16 month-end dry whey stocks of 77.7 million pounds increased on a YOY basis for the fifth consecutive month, finishing up 4.6%. The YOY increase was in addition to a 4.8% upward revision to the previous year figures. Dry whey production increased on a YOY basis for the first time in three months during Apr ’16, contributing to the increase in month-end stocks. Apr ’16 dry whey stocks reached the highest figure on record for the month of April and finished 16.5% above three year average April figures. US Dry Whey Stocks Apr - Jun 16 NFDM – Stocks Reach New Record High for the Month of April, Finish up 1.0% Monthly US NFDM Stocks - Jun 16 Apr ’16 month-end NFDM stocks of 250.5 million pounds increased on a YOY basis for the first time in seven months, finishing up 1.0% and finishing at a nine month high. Apr ’16 month-end NFDM stocks increased MOM by 18.4 million pounds, or 7.9%, which was greater than the ten year average March – April seasonal increase in NFDM stocks of 5.6 million pounds, or 5.9%. Apr ’16 NFDM stocks reached the highest figure on record for the month of April and finished 8.0% above three year average April figures. NFDM stocks reached a record seasonal high despite production finishing lower on a YOY basis for the seventh consecutive month during Apr ’16. US NFDM Stocks Apr - Jun 16
