Biodiesel Trade Update – Jan ’22

According to the USDA, Nov ’21 U.S. biodiesel export volumes declined seasonally to an 11 month low level but finished 36.1% above previous year figures, remaining at a three year high seasonal level. The YOY increase in U.S. biodiesel export volumes was the ninth experienced throughout the past 11 months. U.S. biodiesel import volumes reached a four year high level throughout the month, however, while net biodiesel trade remained negative for the third consecutive month.
